Sounding Competition

Want to a media Whore?

Our Soundings column has been a regular feature of studentBMJ since the journal first started. Over the years the idea hasn't changed too much-to give an entertaining twist on the lives of medical students. And now as the class of 2003 give up their columns for a glittering career in medicine, the arts or philosophy, we are looking for new ones to fill their boots.

This month we are running a competiotion to find six new columnists. We are looking for a wide range of opinions and experience, ideally fron all over the world. The columns can be controversial, funny, political, personal-it's entirely up to you.

The six lucky winners will recieve £50, yes £50, for each column published.

All you need to do is send in three articles, no longer than 450 words each, to reach us by 15 December 2003. We will publish the best two columns from six others over the year.

send your entries to Julia Burrell at jburrell@bmj.com Remeber to include details of who you are,and how you can be contacted

The winners will be told
