Terms and Conditions

  1. If you have indicated on the Questionnaire that you are prepared for excerpts or the whole of your Questionnaire to be published on the Student BMJ website, then please note that such publication is at our absolute discretion. Student BMJ will not publish information which is or appears to be obscene, libellous (or would require us to spend time and money to establish that it is or is not libellous) or which is in some way illegal (for example enciting racial hatred) or which is contempt of court incomprehensible, insubstantial, gratuitously rude, blatantly advertising, not written in English, too lengthy or which is a quote from someone else. if only a line or two of an otherwise OK Questionnaire is defamatory or extremely abusive, we may delete the line and post the rest. It is for Student BMJ to decide whether or not it believes it is appropriate to publish your Questionnaire (or excepts from it).
  2. Student BMJ reserves the right to edit Questionnaires or excepts from Questionnaires before publication.
  3. The information provided in your Questionnaire should not infringe any third party intellectual property rights.
  4. Student BMJ is able to remove any excerpt or Questionnaire at its absolute discretion.
  5. If you have any concerns regarding the publication of your Questionnaire, please contact us.
  6. Questionnaires stored for evaluation and research purposes only will be stored on an anonymous basis. If you supply your name and email address for inclusion with publication of your Questionnaire then this information will only be stored by us for publication purposes and (aside from publication) will not be shared with any other third parties. In any event we direct you to read our Privacy Policy for information regarding how information is stored.
  7. Any personal data provided by you will be stored by Student BMJ for information purposes only. Student BMJ will store such information in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.
