You can write one of three kinds of elective. Read the descriptions below to help you choose which form is the most appropriate to fill in.

Write about an elective
An elective is regarded as time spent abroad on any type of medical work placement.

Write about a Research Exchange
Research exchanges are run by The Standing Committee On Research Exchange (SCORE), which is an IFMSA created standing committee. More information on SCORE can be found on it's website.

Write about an IFMSA Professional Exchange
IFMSA Professional exchanges are run by The Standing Committee On Professional Exchange (SCOPE), which is an IFMSA created standing committee. More information on SCOPE can be found on it's website.
