Website still growing
This month studentbmj.com officially launches its new look website. Our aim is to continue to provide one of the most accessible medical student forums on the web.
We have made our home page much more interactive, enabling you to get to where you want fast. Our site is updated daily with your rapid responses to articles, news flashes, and our web based "Out There" column, informing you about up and coming entertainment and medical school events.
This month too we launch studentBMJ Web Extra.
This new section of our website will provide access to material
not published in the paper journal. It contains archives that allow
easy access to our most popular sections. Elective articles, and
our "Emergency" education articles are now available without having
to search individual issues.
We know that careers advice has always been high on the student wish list for the journal. Now Career Focus can be accessed from a weekly updated archive. As a result of all this, Web Extra will continue to develop into an even more valuable online resource every month.
Since 1998, the studentBMJ has adopted a "web first" strategy, viewing the paper journal as part of a much bigger project on the world wide web. In order to continue this development we need your help.
We have recently set up a questionnaire.
This is your chance to tell us what you want to see on the website
and in the paper journal. Thank you for your comments so far. We
look forward to receiving more.
