There must be a better way

Editor - I found the personal view in the June issue very moving.1 Eleanor Barkell's courageous article also made me reflect on a general question that I worry about more and more as qualification gets nearer. How much of what we do in our working lives as doctors is genuinely motivated by the best interests of our patients?
