Acedemic medicine: Authors response
Editor - With reference to my letter published in the studentBMJ in April
2002,1 I would like to apologise sincerely to Kings College London for any inconvenience I may have caused them. The letter was never intended to implicate the university or the integrity of the courses it offers.
On reflection, the letter was written in haste and disappointment, perhaps misrepresenting the issues I was trying to raise. The main
point of the letter was to voice the sentiments of many students who
have found themselves in similar situations.
