No praying if you've eaten garlic

Editor-Last month's article about bad breath was interesting and enjoyable,1 but some information was not fully correct. Raghav Chawla said that Muhammad, founder of Islam, threw a congregant out of the mosque for having the smell of garlic on his breath.

Muhammad is not reported anywhere to have done such a thing. He is alleged, however, to have said that no congregant should eat onion or garlic before coming to the mosque and that if you did you should avoid the mosque. I hope this helps in removing any misunderstanding.
